This soup will quickly become a favourite for your taste buds, soothing the soul, and your immune system!

Similar to a traditional cream of mushroom soup, this recipe is so flavourful and brings comfort on a cold day. What’s more, it’s packed with known immune and digestive system supporting foods.

Benefits of soup:

  • Prebiotics from Turkey Tail, leeks & onions support healthy gut microflora, which is where we house about 70-80% of our immune system
  • Immunomodulating agents like beta-glucans & flavonoid antioxidants quercetin and baicalein found in Turkey Tail mushrooms help to stimulate & activate our T cells and reduce inflammation
  • Shiitake mushrooms also strengthen the immune system & lower inflammation
  • Garlic & onions, which are part of the Allium family, can inhibit inflammatory response and provide anti-viral support
  • Thyme is known for it’s antibacterial protection properties
